Breweries & Baseball

Lately I have been enjoying sample platters at breweries we have been visiting. On Kates birthday we had a late lunch at Boundary Bay in Bellingham, WA. The beer was really good, but more bitter (higher IBU) then what I like. Boundary has a great atmosphere in their bar/resturant and is a must stop for anyone has yet to try.

We also tried Pyramid Brewery before a mariners game and really enjoyed their sampling platter. For $6 you got five different beers (Thunderhead IPA, Ale House Amber/Apricot Ale, Seasonal, & a Hefeweizen). It was very good beer and I would definately recommend it.

The baseball game was a lot of fun. We had some great views sitting in the outfield, but unfortunately the Mariners have been in a loosing slump (last 9 games) and could not pull anything together loosing to the Texas Rangers.
